Dr. Boyd is an experienced licensed psychologist with a deep commitment to helping women heal and thrive when experiencing various reproductive challenges including infertility, high risk pregnancy, postpartum depression/anxiety, pregnancy and infant loss, and menopause. She graduated from the University of California at Irvine with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and the California School of Professional Psychology with her master’s degree. She earned her doctorate in psychology from Alliant International University in San Diego. Dr. Boyd is a trusted resource for Austin and Round Rock obgyn practices and a sought-after speaker/panelist. She has spoken extensively on postpartum mood disorders and reproductive traumas.

Dr. Boyd works with our Austin and Round Rock obgyn teams as a resource for postpartum depression screening, including evaluation, assessment, treatment and prevention. Dr. Boyd raises awareness for reproductive trauma and related issues as she has been an active member and Texas Co-coordinator for Postpartum Support International and the Founder and Co-Founder for Pregnancy and Postpartum Health Alliance in California and Texas. She feels that it is important to educate extended family members, the community and health professionals about warning signs and seeking help and support.
As a mother of two children, Dr. Boyd is passionate about helping people grow emotionally in whatever obstacles they may face. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors and with family and friends, and volunteering with various women-centered organizations.
